This campaign began with the most powerful insight of all, a life experience. Lou Maurio, while in Cincinnati for a presentation to Procter & Gamble, was moved to write a song about the plight of a homeless woman and child he saw living in Fountain Square. When a P&G executive, who just happened to be the Chairman of the FreeStore FoodBank, expressed interest in the song, Lou offered to create a campaign for the organization.
